Bird Strike - Stop it with this glass

The transparent and reflective properties of glass surfaces are a danger for birds as they often do not recognise the danger, and many hundreds of millions of birds die through flying into windows and facades every year.
A new glass is changing this destructive trend and creates harmony with nature. A special UV reflective coating is applied to parts of the glass in a Mikado pattern.
Birds can see this pattern which for humans is almost invisible.
Paarhammer now has access to this exciting glass which can be part of a double or triple glazed glass unit of the Architectural timber windows and doors range and the Wood-Alu range.
Light transparency and bird protection can go hand-in-hand and are another step to design and build buildings which are in harmony with nature.
